Italian Vendetta 3.0

A self-made textbased multiplayer browser game in the Mafia-MMORPG genre (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game), written in PHP, JavaScript and MySQL, build upon an own written measured framework. The third version was intended to be the future of the Italian Vendetta series, as a sequel to the successfull version 2.0. This new version was predetermined to be the new generation mafia textbased games by using new innovations. These new innovations consist of a complete new differentiating interface in the form of a dashboard filled with movable, resizable and adjustable widgets, provided by techniques such as jQuery and AJAX. Moreover, the whole game would be completely driven on Ajax to give the user a more live and interactive game-experience. The AJAX technique would give the possibility to make crucial game features more realistic, like live Poker games with other players. The development of this version has been paused due to other priorities, but will be continued in the near future. Click here for the website...

Italian Vendetta 1.0 - 2.0

A self-made textbased multiplayer browser game in the Mafia-MMORPG genre (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game), written in PHP, JavaScript and MySQL. The first and second versions, had a really fast-growing community of players and had the potention to compete with market leaders such as Omerta. On a certain time, the game even had around 10,000 users with hunderds of people online at the same time. The game was running untill 2007 when the server crashed and a lot of crucial data vanished and it was quite impossible to smoothly continue the version again due to outdated backups. By then, the decision was made to stop the second version and develop a new version from scratch, namely version 3.0.

This was only a small selection out of the projects I have done and will be updated soon...
